But this beauty is at risk. Every year, millions of tons of plastic enter the oceans, disrupting delicate ecosystems, endangering marine life, and impacting communities that rely on the seas for their livelihoods. At ServiceGRN, we believe it’s not enough to admire the planet’s beauty—we have a responsibility to protect it through ocean sustainability initiatives.
That’s why we’re committed to sustainability, not only through our operations as a carbon-positive company but also by taking direct action to address one of the planet’s most pressing environmental issues: ocean plastic pollution.
Our Partnership with ClimatePartner and Plastic Bank
Through our partnership with ClimatePartner, we’ve joined forces with Plastic Bank, a global initiative dedicated to removing plastic waste from the world’s oceans. This partnership has already enabled us to fund the removal of 150 kilograms of plastic waste—equivalent to about 7,500 plastic bottles that could have otherwise polluted our seas. Plastic Bank operates in coastal communities around the globe, preventing plastic waste from entering the oceans while creating opportunities for people in those regions. By incentivizing plastic collection with rewards and financial support, Plastic Bank cleans the environment and improves the lives of those working to make a difference.
